Alba Chen

Yuan(Alba) Chen holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the prestigious Shanghai Conservatory of Music and a Master’s Degree in Choir Conducting from Memorial University. As Music Director for Nomad Stages in Stephenville, she established youth and adult choirs, winning the Stephenville Rotary Music Festival in 2023 and 2024 and the Corner Brook Music Festival in 2024. Yuan has directed musical adaptations of classics like Annie, Aladdin, Madagascar, The Addams Family, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, Grease and etc. Yuan was a pioneering member of the professional Chinese improv team under KaiXin MaHua and worked as an theatre actress, film producer, and director for over five years. Her diverse talents enrich every community she serves.
