AUDITIONS

Stephenville Theatre Festival is gearing up for their 2026 General Auditions. Auditions will be held both in person and via video submission. If you have any questions please reach out to auditions@stephenvilletheatrefestival.com

This year we will be holding in person auditions as well as accepting video submissions.

Contract dates: Mid June – Mid August 2026 (Exact dates TBA)

Deadline to submit: December 29, 2025

In Person Auditions Dates:

Ottawa – January 6

Toronto – January 8-10

Halifax – January 14-15

Stephenville – February (exact dates TBA)

Corner Brook – February (exact dates TBA)

St. John’s – March 2-3

Video Submission – Deadline to submit February 20

Stephenville Theatre Festival is a repertory company and company members will be involved in at least 2 productions. We are looking for strong singers, dancers and actors as our seasons have a wide range of productions. We are committed to the production of diverse professional theatre that engages, enlightens, and entertains audiences, providing residents and visitors to the Southwest region of Newfoundland and Labrador access to the pleasures and benefits of professional theatre commonly enjoyed by Canadians in our country’s larger theatre centres.

TECHNICIANS

We’re building our technical team for the 2026 season and are seeking both emerging and experienced theatre technicians to join us!

Contracts will run from mid-June to mid-August (exact dates TBD) and offer the chance to work on an exciting summer season of live performance.
